Fishing Details

The lake spans depths of up to six feet, with areas of weed growth that add to the fishing challenge. Species present include Carp up to 20lb, Tench, Roach, Rudd, and Perch. As the water warms, fish tend to feed on the surface, making floaters an effective bait choice. With up to 12 pegs available per lake, High Lodge is well-suited for competitive angling. Please remember that fishing is bailiff controlled, requiring both a National Rod Licence and a High Lodge Fishing Permit.
