History
Hurston Lane is part of the Petworth and Bognor Angling Club, formed in early 2007 by merging two of West Sussex’s most successful freshwater angling clubs. The former Petworth Angling Club and Bognor Regis & District Freshwater Angling Club brought together a long heritage of quality angling that dates back to the early 20th century. This union has continued to uphold the traditional values and practices of coarse angling that both clubs were known for.
Fish Species
The waters at Hurston Lane offer a diverse range of fish, making it a vibrant spot for anglers. Members can find Barbel, Pike, Carp, Tench, Chub, Bream, Roach, Rudd, Dace, Grayling, Gudgeon, Eel, Sea Trout, and Brown Trout. Whether you’re casting in rivers, lakes, or ponds, there’s a variety of species to target, providing an engaging fishing experience.
