Lake Heath spans two acres and provides a peaceful setting for anglers. With 16 pegs available, 14 are designated for night fishing, while two cater specifically to day fishing. This lake is known for its impressive carp population, with many anglers catching specimens over 20lb and some reaching up to 30lb. If you enjoy fishing under the stars, Lake Heath offers a rewarding experience.
Lake Moors
Lake Moors is our main match and leisure fishing lake, covering about five acres. It features 48 permanent pegs situated on comfortable platforms. The lake’s sharply shelving borders and flat bottoms, averaging around six feet deep, create excellent conditions for catching carp, bream, chub, and tench. Whether you’re targeting a hefty carp or a sturdy tench, Lake Moors caters to various angling preferences throughout the year.
Booking
Avalon Fishery accepts bookings from 24 to 120 hours in advance, with the option to add an extra 24 hours when you book. For day-only swims, pegs 7 and 8 can be reserved at any time. Other pegs become available for day sessions if they’re not booked for night fishing, provided you book at least 24 hours before your intended fishing time. Planning ahead ensures you get the best spot for your fishing adventure.
