Access

Magpie Lake welcomes anglers all year with day tickets available at £6 for adults and £4 for children. Fishing is open from dawn to dusk, providing plenty of daylight hours to enjoy your time by the water.

Fish

The lake is stocked with a variety of fish, including Carp that can reach up to 16 lb, as well as Perch, Roach, and Rudd. Whether you're aiming for a hefty carp or a smaller catch, Magpie Lake offers opportunities for different fishing preferences.

Rules

Anglers over 12 must have a valid EA rod licence, and those under 16 should be accompanied by an adult. Only barbless hooks are permitted, and nets must be dipped before use. Remember to remove any rubbish from pegs when you finish, ensuring the lake remains clean for everyone.
