Hatleys Junior Pit welcomes young anglers with WAC Juniors Clubcard memberships. Joining the club ensures access to a dedicated fishing spot where juniors can hone their skills. Club memberships are offered, providing a community for budding fishing enthusiasts.

Rules

Adults are welcome to accompany junior anglers, though they aren’t permitted to fish. From 14 March to 15 June, keepnets are prohibited, and all fish must be released immediately after catching. Maintaining cleanliness is crucial; any litter left behind could result in the water being closed by the Committee.

Licensing and Equipment

To fish at Hatleys Junior Pit, an EA Rod Licence is required. Anglers are limited to using one rod, and bringing tins to the water is not allowed. Additionally, night fishing is not permitted, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants.
