This year, Steve Calder and his partners have enhanced the site with 40 spacious swims, each bordered by reed beds, channels, islands, and deep margins, creating ideal habitats for a variety of fish.
Boat Fishing and Hire
If you prefer to fish from a boat, Burwell Brick Pit accommodates you with boat fishing options. Bait boats are permitted when used safely and courteously, ensuring a smooth experience for all visitors. Additionally, anglers have the option to hire bait boats for £15 per day, making it easier to explore different areas of the fishery without the hassle of bringing your own equipment.
Tickets and Hours
Access to Burwell Brick Pit is straightforward with a range of ticket options. For the remainder of the 2013-2014 season, day tickets are available at a discounted rate of £100, acknowledging the ongoing improvements at the site. For shorter visits, 12-hour and 24-hour tickets can be purchased for £10 and £20 respectively. It’s important to note that the gates are locked between 7pm and 7am, ensuring the safety and privacy of the fishery during overnight hours.
