The fishery features three distinct pools: The Specimen Pool, The Match Pool, and The Brook Pool. Each pool offers a unique fishing experience with varying sizes and numbers of pegs.
Available Species
Anglers at Wassell Grove can target a variety of coarse fish. The Specimen Pool is renowned for producing Carp up to nearly 30lb, alongside Bream, Tench, and silvers. The Match Pool, covering 3.5 acres with 56 pegs, hosts Carp ranging from 8oz to 14lb, as well as Bream, Tench, Ide, Roach, Rudd, Perch, and Chub. Meanwhile, the Brook Pool offers Carp up to 14lb, Bream up to 2lb, and Tench up to 3lb across its 2 acres and 26 pegs.
Fishing Timings
The Match Pool and Brook Pool open during the summer on Tuesdays and Saturday mornings, as well as Thursday and Sunday afternoons from 3pm. The Specimen Lake is accessible throughout these hours, providing ample opportunities for anglers to enjoy their time on the water.
