Fishing Experience
The Match Lake spans six acres and is known for its high-density stocking, featuring mirror carp, common carp, hybrid F1s, roach, tench, bream, skimmers, chub, perch, and rudd. Anglers can enjoy up to 38 lb 8 oz carp at the Specimen Lake, which covers twenty acres and hosts a variety of species including roach, chub, bream, tench, perch, and crucians. The Arena Pool, a float-only facility opened in 2005, is stocked with common and mirror carp, along with bream, skimmers, roach, rudd, tench, and perch, promising substantial catches. Along the River Severn, there are 80 river pegs where barbel, chub, bream, dace, roach, and gudgeon are commonly caught, with barbel reaching up to 12 lb.
