Explore Our Lakes

Waldens Estate Fishery boasts two distinct lakes, each offering its own charm. The first lake, spread over three acres, is a haven for specimen carp fishing. Hand-picked English breed carp, including a variety of mirror and common carp, populate the waters. With five designated swims and several stalking spots, it caters to anglers seeking quality catches. Private rentals are available for three or seven nights, accommodating up to four anglers.

The second lake, covering two acres, was originally excavated in the 1980s for trout fishing. Though currently closed for restoration until fall 2022, it features a shallow depth ideal for fish growth. This lake is home to both original and newly introduced species, promising a delightful fishing experience upon reopening. Anglers can enjoy fishing on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limit of five anglers at a time.
