Royds Hall Dam

Key Information
Access
Royds Hall Dam is located near Harold Park in Low Moor, West Yorkshire. You can enter the fishery through two points: one from Lingdale Road via a stile into the field, and another from Woodside Road along the old lane. Please note that rods longer than 4 metres are not permitted due to power lines crossing the lake.
Fishing
The dam has a triangular shape, allowing fishing around most of its perimeter except where gardens meet the lake edge. The west side is shallow, about 3 feet deep with some weed beds, while the east side deepens to around 14 feet near the dam wall. Enjoy casting your line in this varied environment.
Species
Anglers can target a range of fish including bream, carp, perch, roach, tench, and gudgeon. Whether you're after a peaceful catch or aiming for something more substantial, Royds Hall Dam offers a quiet spot for your fishing activities.
Day tickets are available from Tackle 2U in Bradford, costing £3 for seniors and £1 for ladies, juniors, and OAPs. Plan your visit and enjoy a day out by the water.
