Day Access

Anglers can obtain day tickets from local tackle shops and WH Kershaw in Bingley, granting access to the Leeds & Liverpool Canal's Bingley stretch. Open all year round, this three-mile section provides ample opportunity for a day out by the water.

Fish Species

The canal hosts a diverse range of fish, including Roach, Bream, Skimmers, Perch, Gudgeon, Ide, Chub, and Pike. Carp enthusiasts will find specimens reaching up to 25lb+, adding excitement to your fishing experience.

Fishing Regulations

Anglers are encouraged to follow The Waterway Code to ensure the towpath remains clear and unobstructed. Those wishing to use a second rod for carp fishing must obtain an Annual Carp Permit from the Club Secretary prior to fishing from the canal.
