Lakes

Mill Farm Fisheries features three distinct lakes set within a lovely wooded area. Mill Pond offers 40 pegs and bankside protection, making it a favourite spot for anglers. Hammer Pond, the newest addition, provides a quieter fishing experience with 18 well-spaced pegs. Specimen Lake, covering approximately 4 acres, is deeper and hosts larger carp, reaching up to thirty pounds.

Fish

Anglers can expect a variety of species during their visit. Mill Pond is home to carp up to 25 lb, crucians, roach up to 2 lb, tench up to 9 lb, and perch over 4 lb. Hammer Pond boasts roach up to 1 lb, crucians and perch up to 2 lb, tench up to 4 lb, and silver bream, including the British record holder at 1 lb 12 oz. Specimen Lake specialises in larger carp, with no fish under ten pounds.

Access

Visitors can access the fisheries with day tickets priced at £7.50 for Hammer Pond, £9.50 for Mill Pond, and £12.50 for Specimen Lake. Concessions are available for OAP, disabled visitors, and juniors on Hammer and Mill Ponds, except on weekends. The facility is equipped with disabled access and facilities to ensure comfort for all guests.
