Douster Lake is an established estate lake located in West Sussex. With depths ranging from 3' to 16', it offers a diverse fishing experience for anglers.
The lake is home to a range of species including roach, rudd, perch, bream, sunfish, carp, pike, tench, and crucian carp. Bream fishing can be particularly rewarding, with bags exceeding 100lb reported this year. The largest bream caught weighed over 6lb, though larger specimens are known to inhabit the waters.
Carp fishing at Douster Lake presents a challenge, but dedicated anglers have caught fish up to 30lb, along with several 20lb mirrors and a few double-figure commons. Additionally, the lake is renowned for producing sizeable pike, with reports of pike reaching 30lb. However, these larger pike are elusive and rarely give up their catch.
