The Ponds

At the junction of Eastwick Drive and Spring Grove in Great Bookham, Surrey, you'll find Long Copse Top Pond, the larger of the two, spanning one and a quarter acres together. This pond is easily accessible from the road and offers ample parking for anglers. It comfortably accommodates up to 14 anglers, providing a welcoming spot for both seasoned and novice fishermen.

Fish in the Ponds

Long Copse Top Pond is home to a variety of carp ranging from 2 to 14 pounds, including common and mirror carp, with the occasional ghost carp making an appearance. Double figure carp often put up a hearty fight, especially against the backdrop of prolific reed beds. In addition to carp, anglers can find Roach, Rudd, Perch, Tench, and a recently introduced shoal of Bream. The smaller Long Copse Bottom Pond is particularly popular with Junior anglers, featuring carp up to 10 pounds, Crucian Carp, Tench, Roach, Rudd, and some ornamental Goldfish, alongside good-sized Perch.
