Key Information

Last updated: 30 January 2025

Busbridge Lake, spanning almost five acres, offers a serene and secluded fishing experience in Surrey. Owned by the club since August 1989, the lake is set in a valley on the edge of Godalming and is surrounded by mature trees. During the summer and early autumn months, numerous lily pads cover the water, and two fallen trees create favoured spots for mature carp.

Accessibility

Pegs 1 through 6 at Busbridge Lake are wheelchair accessible. Other pegs may require assistance and have steps down to the swims, making them unsuitable for wheelchairs. A large car park is provided inside the entrance and typically fills up only during fishing matches.

Bait and Tackle Shop

For up-to-date fishing information or to purchase bait and tackle, anglers can contact the on-site Tackle Shop at Marsh Farm by calling 01483 428885.

Fish

The lake is home to carp, with specimens reaching up to 7 lb, and tench, growing up to 3 lb. The lily pads and fallen trees are favourite spots for these fish, particularly during the warmer months.
