Directions

Taking the A525 from Newcastle-under-Lyme towards Woore Road, drive past Keele University and the Newcastle Municipal Golf Club. Continue on the Keele Village By-pass until you spot the Madeley turn on your left. Instead of turning, stay on the A531 towards Betley. After passing under the Motorway Bridge, the car park entrance is just 150 yards ahead on your right.

Fish Species

Madeley Manor offers a diverse range of fish for anglers. You can expect to catch roach up to 2 lb 8 oz, tench, barbel, chub, perch, and rudd. Carp enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy, with many specimens between 2 and 12 lbs, and some reaching over 25 lbs. Bream are also present, with sizes up to 7 lbs.

Parking and Memberships

Parking is conveniently available at Madeley Manor. After unlocking the barrier, ensure you re-lock it once parked and remember to return the keys to Ron Kendrick or during meetings. Club memberships are offered for those who wish to enjoy regular visits. Please note that members are restricted from walking around the top end of the lake to move between sides.
