Getting Here

From the M6/M56/A50 intersection, head south on the M6 towards Birmingham. Exit at Junction 16 and follow the A500 towards Crewe. At the first roundabout, take the first exit onto the A531, and then again at the next roundabout signposted Keele. Continue through Betley village and look out for The Hand and Trumpet pub. A quarter mile past the pub, turn right into Den Lane. Wrinehill Pool is located three-quarters of a mile along this road, just after crossing a railway bridge.

Parking

Parking is available through the gates at the bottom left of the slope leading down to the water's edge. Please note that a club key is required for access.

Fish Species

Betley Mere is renowned for its specimen Carp, with catches reaching up to 20 lb. Anglers can also target Tench weighing over 7 lb and Perch up to 3 lb. Whether you're after a hefty Carp or seeking variety, Wrinehill Pool offers a rewarding fishing experience.
