Built around 1770 alongside Pebley Pond, these waters originally served as a feeder reservoir for the Chesterfield canal in Kiveton Park, roughly two miles to the north. The largest pond covers 20 acres and drops to 20 feet close to the dam wall, providing ample space for anglers.
