West Sedgemoor Drain has been a favourite fishing destination in Somerset since its establishment around 1948. Organized by the Taunton Angling Association, the fishery has grown to accommodate just over 900 members who enjoy angling in this historic drain.

The venue features 6 miles of the Bridgwater and Taunton Canal, a stretch known for its productive waters. It's not uncommon to land pleasure nets weighing up to 40lb, adding excitement to each fishing trip.
