About Walton Pond

Since its founding around 1948, the Taunton Angling Association has grown to over 900 members dedicated to fishing at Walton Pond in Somerset. This historic venue offers access to 6 miles of the Bridgwater and Taunton Canal, providing a unique setting for anglers.

Fishing Highlights

Walton Pond is renowned for its impressive catches. Anglers can enjoy match fishing, carp fishing, or pike fishing, with the canal known for producing large nets of Bream and substantial specimen Carp and Pike. Landing pleasure nets up to 40lbs is a common and rewarding experience here.
