The Sedges

Key Information
Access
Visitors can secure day ticket access to The Sedges' three lakes for £8 per day, or choose evening tickets at £5 after 4pm. Located in Somerset, the fishery is conveniently close to the M5 motorway, making it easy for anglers to plan their visit.
Fishing
Covering over 6 acres, The Sedges features 64 well-spaced pegs across Tile, Brick, and Canal Lakes. The waters are home to carp, bream, barbel, chub, tench, perch, roach, and rudd. Pole and feeder fishing are popular on Tile and Brick Lakes, while Canal Lake is best tackled with pole fishing or any float fishing style. During warmer months, waggler fishing in shallow areas is also effective.
Events
The fishery hosts regular matches on each lake, frequently organized by visiting clubs. There is an over 50s match every Monday and a Christmas Open on Brick and Tile Lakes. To ensure a pleasant experience for all, at least one lake is always left open for pleasure anglers and holidaymakers.
