Access to the River Chew is free, but anglers are required to hold a club membership. Club memberships are offered, allowing you to enjoy fishing along this picturesque river. Fishing Regulations

There are specific regulations to follow when fishing on the River Chew. Anglers are limited to keeping two trout per day, with each trout needing to be at least 25cm long. Additionally, fishing is strictly prohibited between the 15th and 31st of March, so it’s important to plan your visits accordingly. Adhering to these rules helps maintain the river’s healthy fish population.
