Memberships

The Glaston Manor Angling Association has proudly served Somerset for over a century, offering a welcoming community for anglers. Club memberships provide access to a variety of rivers, drains, and lakes managed by the association. Members can participate in senior match fishing events and enjoy the vibrant junior section, which hosts regular competitions and coaching sessions throughout the season. Joining the club is straightforward, with permits available for purchase at several local tackle shops.

Access

Millstreams, situated along the River Brue, offers prime opportunities for coarse fishing. Anglers can fish both banks from Lydford on Fosse Bridge downstream to the old White House site, roughly 1½ miles below Westhay Bridge, as well as the north bank above Lydford on Fosse Bridge from the fifth to the ninth field. Day tickets are available for those looking to spend a few hours by the water, ensuring easy access to some of Somerset’s best fishing spots.

Support

Whether you’re new to angling or looking to refine your skills, Millstreams provides fishing lessons and tuition to assist beginners. The association is committed to fostering a supportive environment, making it easier for newcomers to enjoy their time on the water. Additionally, entry to events is free, with prizes awarded on the day and at the end of the season, adding an extra layer of excitement to your fishing experience.
