Kingston Pools

Key Information
About Kingston Pools
Acorn Carp Fishery, located in Somerset, officially opened its doors in June 2001. Spanning approximately 3.5 acres, the main carp lake is home to around 550 carp, including 300 doubles, 200 mid doubles, 30 high doubles, and smaller specimens weighing up to 30lb. Each year, the lake undergoes netting to manage the population, ensuring a healthy environment for anglers.
Facilities
The fishery features a well-stocked tackle shop, open all year round, where visitors can purchase bait and essential fishing gear. Anglers have access to both the main carp lake, which offers 24-hour fishing, and the paddock lake designated for day sessions. Additionally, club memberships are available for those seeking exclusive opportunities, although details remain straightforward without inferred benefits.
Rules
Compliance with fishing regulations is paramount. Each angler is limited to two rods, with a third available for an additional fee. Only boilies and freebie pellets are permitted as bait, and the use of artificial baits is strictly prohibited. Barbless hooks must be used at all times, and dogs are not allowed on the premises. All caught carp are required to be returned to the water promptly, and maintaining a clean environment by taking all rubbish home is essential.
