Overview

Hunstrete Lake in Somerset offers a unique fishing experience across its three distinctive lakes. Withy and Bridge Pools, enhanced by thousands of trees on the surrounding hills, provide a natural setting beloved by anglers. The park boasts 115 well-spaced swims, all easily accessible from the adjacent car park.

Fishing Opportunities

The main lake, spanning over 5 acres, is renowned for its impressive carp, with specimens reaching up to 40 lb. Anglers have set personal bests here, including the club record carp. In addition to carp, you can find Bream up to 8 lb, Pike reaching 22 lb, and smaller species like Tench and Roach. Bridge Pool offers a variety of fishing spots with three islands and 34 wooden platforms, perfect for testing new rigs and baits.
