Follyfoot Fishery in Somerset stretches over three acres at the base of the Quantock Hills, offering a serene environment for carp anglers. The lake is teeming with Mirror, Koi, Common, and Ghost Carp, with some specimens reaching up to 30 lb. Most carp are in the double digits, while a few weigh in the twenties. A notable 28 lb carp was caught seven years ago, and larger fish continue to challenge anglers.

Accommodation

Along the lake’s edge, there are nine purpose-built wooden houses and cabins available for visitors. Each accommodation includes a platform, a small table, and a battery-operated light, providing a comfortable base for an overnight fishing experience.

Security

For those who enjoy night fishing, Follyfoot Fishery ensures safety with a protective fence surrounding the lake. Additionally, CCTV is in place, and secure parking is available, allowing anglers to focus on their fishing without worry.
