Stoke Bardolph (Road Stretch)

History

Ashfield Angling Club was founded in 1988 by a passionate group of 88 anglers from Kirkby in Ashfield. They initially leased Gunthorpe and Hazelford Weirs, creating a solid base for the club. Despite losing these waters due to Health and safety regulations from British Waterways, the club's dedication to providing quality angling experiences never faltered.

Facilities

Stoke Bardolph offers disabled access and facilities, ensuring that everyone can enjoy their time by the water. Club memberships are available, giving members secured access and the chance to connect with fellow fishing enthusiasts.

Carp is the main species at Stoke Bardolph. The club focuses on managing the waters responsibly, maintaining a healthy carp population for anglers to enjoy throughout the year.
