History

Ashfield Angling Club was founded in 1988 by a passionate group of 88 anglers from Kirkby in Ashfield. They initially leased Gunthorpe and Hazelford Weirs, creating a solid base for the club. Despite losing these waters due to Health and safety regulations from British Waterways, the club's dedication to providing quality angling experiences never faltered.
