Location

Hackett Lakes is situated in Nottinghamshire, just a few miles from Nottingham city. To reach the lakes, head south on the A60 London Road, then follow Cattle Market Road and County Road. Continue onto Meadow Lane and Lady Bay Bridge, and follow the signs on Radcliffe Road towards Holme Pierrepont. Access is exclusively via Adbolton Lane.

The Lakes

The fishery boasts two well-stocked lakes, each offering a distinct angling experience. Lake 1, the smaller of the two, serves as an ideal match lake. Stocked in 2005 with Carp up to 20 lbs, it also hosts abundant Perch, Chub, and Roach near the reeds. Tench are commonly found feeding in the deeper waters.

Fish

Anglers at Hackett Lakes can target a variety of species. Carp, weighing up to 20 lb, are a highlight in both lakes. During the summer months, Perch, Chub, and Roach are plentiful in the reeds, providing ample opportunities for a rewarding catch. In the winter, these species move to deeper pools as the water cools, maintaining excellent fishing conditions year-round.
