Fishing Guidelines

The pond is fully pegged, so anglers should only fish from the designated pegs. Dissington Pond hosts a variety of species, including bream, carp, perch, roach, rudd, and tench, with tench weighing up to 5 lb. Parts of the water are deep, so junior and senior anglers should be cautious. Occasionally, matches are held, and notices on the water will inform when fishing is closed for these events. There is no close season, and a limit of 1 lb of dry groundbait is in force.
