The Lakes

Scarborough Mere comprises three natural lakes situated in the Weaponness Valley of North Yorkshire. The Specimen Pool spans nine acres and is home to carp and pike reaching up to 30 lb each. The Ski Pool covers three acres, offering pike up to 27 lb, while the Match Lake is a smaller, two-acre area tailored for more focused fishing activities.

Fish Species

Anglers at Scarborough Mere can target a variety of fish species. In the Specimen Pool, you can catch carp up to 30 lb, pike the same weight, bream up to 14 lb, and tench reaching 10 lb. The Ski Pool is primarily stocked with pike, making it an excellent spot for those seeking larger specimens. Membership and Night Fishing

Club memberships are available at Scarborough Mere, offering access to additional fishing opportunities. One notable feature is restricted night fishing, which is permitted exclusively for members.
