Parking

Convenient parking is available directly outside the gate, allowing members easy access to the fishing areas. After the hay has been cut, typically by late July, vehicles may be driven down the riverside track at your own risk.

Fishing Opportunities

The River Ouse offers YDAA-controlled fishing on the right bank between Naburn Weir and the Old Salmon Hut, as well as three other sections marked by yellow-tipped posts. The weir pool is renowned for producing impressive catches, including barbel, chub, and river carp. Anglers can also target roach and skimmer bream using maggots or a caster feeder, and salmon have been spotted occasionally.

Club Memberships

Club memberships are offered for those interested in fishing on the River Ouse. This is a member-only water, and day passes are not available.
