Fishing Details

Newhay Lakes comprises two distinct fishing areas. The Day Ticket Lake is a favourite among many, stocked with a variety of coarse fish including superb barbel and carp reaching up to 20lb. A day ticket is priced at £6.00 for one rod, with additional rods available at £2.00 each, up to three rods.

Established in 1993, the Specimen Lake has grown steadily, particularly notable for its grass carp introduced in 1994. Anglers here can target carp exceeding 30lb, including common and mirror carp. With only eight pegs available, advance booking is essential, especially during weekends. Day rates start at £15, with options for extended fishing sessions.
