Fishing Highlights

Catterick Complex, set on the site of an old quarry in North Yorkshire, features four lakes teeming with a variety of carp. Anglers can enjoy fishing in well-regulated waters, with carp weighing over twenty pounds making their home here. While the banks can become quite muddy in wet weather, the abundance of pegs and ample parking ensure a smooth fishing experience on most days.

Access and Facilities

The site offers excellent car parking surrounding the waters, providing easy access to fishing pegs for all visitors. Additionally, Catterick Complex is equipped with disabled access and facilities, making it accessible for everyone. Whether you're driving in or have specific accessibility needs, the complex ensures that your visit is comfortable and hassle-free.

Outstanding Catches

Catterick Complex boasts some impressive angling achievements. The Howe lake, the furthest from the entrance, is home to carp exceeding thirty pounds, with the record being a 30lb 4oz specimen caught in 2002. Copley lake holds carp up to 27lb 5oz, while Match lake saw a remarkable catch of 46kg by 15-year-old Stuart Sexton from Scorton. These notable catches highlight the excellent fishing opportunities available at the complex.
