Carp Vale Pools

Lakes

Carp Vale Pools comprises three stocked lakes near Moor Monkton, York, just off the A59. The Cyprio Pool includes pegs 1 to 21 and is known for larger carp, typically over 5lb, with some reaching more than 20lb. The Match Pool covers pegs 22 to 55, primarily housing smaller carp alongside other coarse fish. Front Pool spans pegs 54 to 72 and features a variety of coarse fish, including carp in the low double figures.

The primary species at Carp Vale Pools is carp, with some specimens weighing up to 20lb. Additionally, the Match and Front Pools contain a range of other coarse fish, offering diverse angling opportunities.
