Taverham Mills Fishery

Key Information
Fishing Lakes
Taverham Mills Fishery features four distinct fishing lakes, each offering a unique angling experience. The 22-acre Mills Lake is completely otter walled and home to carp up to 35 pounds and tench reaching 9 pounds. With islands, peninsulas, lily pads, and gravel bars, The Mills provide a diverse habitat for roughly 350 mirror and common carp, as well as tench and pike during the winter months.
River Wensum
In addition to the lakes, anglers can explore a mile section of the picturesque River Wensum. This 34-mile route includes two weir pools, deep pools, shallow gravel runs, and snaggy sections, making it ideal for targeting chub, roach, perch, pike, and little barbel. The river's natural features not only enhance the fishing experience but also offer opportunities to enjoy the local wildlife and serene surroundings.

Taverham Mills offers club memberships and day ticket access for those looking to enjoy their fishing facilities.
