Charity Lakes

Key Information
Main Lake
Charity Lakes boasts three distinct lakes, with the Main Lake, also known as Church Lakes, being the largest at 5.7 acres. This tree-lined expanse features a tiny central island and numerous gravel areas, offering diverse fishing spots. Depths here range from nine to twenty feet, providing ample opportunities for catching sizeable carp and pike. During the summer, the shallower parts become weedy, which helps maintain excellent water quality and supports a vibrant invertebrate population.
Fish Species
Anglers at Charity Lakes can target a variety of species. The Main Lake is famed for its impressive carp, including the legendary 'Baby Face' who once weighed over 53 lbs 10 oz. Today, anglers can still find stunning carp up to 45 lbs and pike reaching over 30 lbs. Tench fishing is also popular, especially in the Tench Lake, where fish can exceed 12 lbs 12 oz. Additionally, bream up to 16 lbs add to the diversity, making each fishing trip unique.
Membership
Club memberships are available for those looking to make the most of Charity Lakes. Members enjoy access to all three lakes and can participate in the ongoing stocking programs that ensure a healthy and thriving fish population. Whether you're a seasoned angler or just starting out, a membership provides the opportunity to engage regularly with this well-maintained fishery.
