Anglers can find a variety of fish at Bartles Lodge, including mirror and common carp, tench, bream, perch, rudd, and roach. Carp can reach impressive sizes, with some specimens up to 22 lb, while tench grow up to 9 lb. The middle lake is especially well-stocked with carp averaging 6-8 lb, and a notable catch of 18 lb was recorded in 2021.
