Barford Lakes

Key Information
Willow Lake
Willow Lake, part of the Railway Lakes complex, was established in 2001 and runs parallel to Railway Lake's peg numbers 1-16. Its banana shape and average depth of 10 feet make it a unique addition to the Thuxton area. Approaching the complex, Willow Lake is on the right after crossing the bridge. The lake features two chambers and a portakabin, facilitating groups fishing both Willow and Railway Lakes.
Carp
The lake is highly stocked with carp ranging from 2 to 10 pounds, offering a balanced fishing experience. Each peg is equipped with a fishing platform, ensuring anglers have access to the water’s surface. Between the pegs, willow trees and reeds create a natural habitat, enhancing the fishing environment.
Restrooms
Clean and accessible restrooms are available for visitors, providing essential facilities during your fishing trip.
