Peterstone Lakes
Peterstone Lakes stands behind a farm along the Lanes and the foreshore road leading to Newport. Despite its remote location, it serves as a key venue for major events like the Wales Carp Championship and The Carp Cup UK. A spacious parking lot is the main entry point, providing ample space for visitors. The site is equipped with disabled access and facilities, ensuring everyone can enjoy their fishing experience comfortably.
The complex features two small lakes on its outskirts, perfect for coarse and carp fishing. Anglers can target specimen carp ranging from 10 to 15 pounds, as well as silver fish including roach, bream, rudd, barbel, and tench. Syndicate Lake, a larger body of water, offers additional challenges with Pike fishing available during the winter months. Club members often net impressive pike, adding to the variety of catches available throughout the year.
A large hut serves as the hub of Peterstone Lakes, housing a modest tackle shop where anglers can find essential gear.
