Speke Hall Dam

Key Information
The Dam
Speke Hall Dam is nestled within a rural setting of a National Trust-run estate in Merseyside. Covering approximately an acre and a half, the dam offers a peaceful retreat despite its proximity to Liverpool. The area is rich with natural cover, providing a habitat for various fish species.
Current Status
Over the past two years, the fishery has faced challenges, including vandalism and general disrepair, leaving the club in a state of limbo. Recently, negotiations with the National Trust have commenced to revive the club. There is a six-month window to demonstrate a successful cleanup of the water and curb anti-social behaviour, aiming to restore the dam to its former condition.
Membership
Club memberships are currently available, but there are only 50 permits allocated each year, all of which have been taken up. Interested individuals can contact Karl to be added to the waiting list. Unfortunately, day tickets are not being issued at this time due to restrictions set by the National Trust.
