Knightscote Ponds, located just outside Harefield on the road to Ickenham in London, comprises two small ponds each with approximately 15 pegs. Managed by the Harefield Angling Project under Uxbridge Rovers, these ponds offer a serene fishing experience supported by Hillingdon Council and the Environment Agency.
The top pond is conveniently situated no more than 20 yards from the car park and provides access from three banks, with the nearest bank being the most frequented. Both ponds are equipped with disabled access and facilities, ensuring that anglers of all abilities can enjoy their time. Parking is readily available, making it easy for visitors to arrive and depart without hassle.
The lower pond, a 15-minute walk down the hill and nestled within the woods, presents a more secluded fishing environment. While not heavily weedy, it features numerous snags from fallen trees, creating ideal spots for large carp, weighing up to 8lb, to cruise around. Additionally, resident pike are active, often sending shoals of fry into motion. The pond maintains a maximum depth of 4ft, with very deep silt areas that require anglers to exercise caution.
