Jack's Lake

Key Information
Access and Membership
At Jack's Lake in Hadley Woods, anglers can enjoy a welcoming environment managed by the HAPS club, established in 1982. Whether you're a member or holding a day ticket, you have access to the 44 available pegs. Club members have the added benefit of participating in organised matches and coach trips, enhancing the fishing experience.
Facilities
The lake has recently seen upgrades to improve accessibility, including enhanced walkways and new metal safety platforms at most pegs. Additionally, select pegs now feature new stairs for easier access. While there is one wheelchair-accessible peg, navigating the wooded routes to the lake can be challenging without assistance. For those requiring support, it's advisable to contact the club for more information.
Fish Species
Jack's Lake is home to a variety of fish, making it a delightful spot for anglers. The primary species include carp, with specimens reaching up to 26lb, bream up to 7lb, and roach. Other species such as tench, chub, pike up to 18lb, rudd, gudgeon, and occasionally eels and barbel are also present, offering diverse fishing opportunities.
