Key Information
Lakes
Woodlands Fishery boasts five distinct lakes spread across 12 acres of a natural valley near the Lincolnshire Wolds. Elm Lake stands out as the second lake in the complex, heavily stocked with Mirror and Common Carp, with the largest reaching 21lb 10oz. Ash Lake, one of the newer additions from 2004, offers 17 pegs spaced 10 yards apart, providing ample room for anglers to enjoy fishing along the margins. Willow Lake, the original from 25 years ago, was initially a trout fishery and continues to benefit from a steady flow of oxygen-rich water from nearby streams and springs. Oak Lake, approximately one acre in size, was the primary match lake before the expansion. The newest and largest, Hawthorn Lake, features 36 pegs and a central reed-fringed island, with water depths varying from 16 to 35 metres towards the island.
