Willowbank Fisheries

Key Information
Ponds Overview
Willowbank Fisheries, located in Lincolnshire, features the picturesque Laughton Ponds. Currently, the Moat Pond remains closed, allowing anglers to enjoy the Barometer Pond and the Foot Pond. Barometer Pond offers a variety of fishing experiences with its Bowl end and long, narrow straight. The Bowl is home to species such as skimmer bream, roach, perch, rudd, and various carp, including ghost and mirror varieties. During the summer, carp are known to respond well to floating baits like bread and biscuit. The straight section presents a more challenging fishing environment, with chubb, tench, barbel, and koi carp hiding among the rush beds.
Accessibility and Parking
Visitors to Willowbank Fisheries will find that most pegs at Barometer Pond are easily accessible, with peg-side parking available when the weather permits. The Foot Pond, situated to the left of Barometer Pond, offers ten pegs surrounded by trees that provide excellent cover for fish. While the banks here are steep, they create a secluded atmosphere ideal for a quiet fishing session. Disabled access and facilities are available, ensuring that everyone can enjoy their time at the fishery. Day tickets can be purchased on the bank side, making it convenient for spontaneous visits.
