Richmond Lakes, located near Lincoln in Lincolnshire, offer anglers two distinct fishing environments. The Front Lake spans approximately 18 acres and features 11 swims. It's home to around 450 English born and bred Carp, with about 100 fish exceeding 20lb and 30 over 25lb. Boilie approaches are the preferred method here. North of the main lake lies the Back Lake, covering roughly 16 acres with plenty of swims. This lake is stocked with around 600 English born and bred Carp, providing ample opportunities for a rewarding catch.
Carp Information
Carp fishing enthusiasts will find Richmond Lakes particularly appealing. The Front Lake boasts a substantial population of Carp, including some impressive specimens weighing over 25lb. The Back Lake complements this with an even larger stock, ensuring a diverse fishing experience. Fishing Guidelines
To maintain a fair and sustainable fishing environment, certain guidelines are in place at Richmond Lakes. Unhooking mats are compulsory, and anglers must use a minimum 42" landing net and large weigh slings. Only barbed hooks are permitted, and the use of tigers or peanuts is prohibited. Adhering to these rules helps ensure that everyone enjoys a safe and enjoyable fishing experience.
