About Bain Valley Fisheries

Bain Valley Fisheries welcomes anglers to the scenic village of Tattershall Thorpe in Lincolnshire. Set amidst rural farmland, the fishery features seven man-made lakes, all former quarry pits reaching depths of up to eleven feet. Each lake offers convenient peg access, including provisions for disabled anglers, ensuring a comfortable fishing experience for everyone.

The Lakes

Beaufighter Lake is renowned for carp that can weigh up to 25 pounds, providing a noteworthy challenge for anglers. Lake Halifax spans eight acres with 35 pegs and hosts a variety of species such as Mirror Carp, Common Carp, Tench, Rudd, and Roach. Lancaster Lake stands as the largest in the complex and has transitioned to a syndicated lake. Additionally, Spitfire and Hurricane Lakes cover around two acres with sixteen pegs, featuring carp up to 22 pounds and Tench reaching six pounds. Lake Stirling, the largest pleasure and match lake at ten acres with forty pegs, is home to Mirror, Common, and Ghost Carp, alongside Tench and Bream.

Opportunities

Anglers at Bain Valley Fisheries can explore syndicate opportunities, offering a shared fishing experience on Lancaster Lake and Lake Wellington, the latter being a 16-acre syndicate carp lake with a five-acre wooded area. The fishery also accommodates day and night fishing, allowing flexibility in fishing times. For those looking to extend their stay, the farm includes a caravan club site with pitches available for up to five caravans.
