Whetstone Gorse Fishery sits on Willoughby Road between Countesthorpe and Willoughby Waterleys in Leicestershire. Known locally as "Phase 2," it offers convenient parking for up to 50 vehicles, making it easy to access for a day out on the water.

During the summer months, toilets are provided for convenience. Additionally, campsites are situated near the car park, allowing anglers to extend their stay comfortably.

Fishing

Anglers can choose between two lakes at Whetstone Gorse—one mixed and one dedicated to carp. Day tickets are affordable, with adults (16+) able to use up to two rods for £10. Juniors and those eligible for concessions can fish for £5, while evening tickets after 5 pm are also available at £5.
