Opened in 2022, Canaan Lake is a recent addition to the Arrow Meadow Fishery portfolio. Situated in Ashby Parva, Leicestershire, this 0.4-acre pool reaches an average depth of eight feet. The fishery is surrounded by mature trees and offers stunning open country views, providing a peaceful setting for anglers.

Fishing Opportunities

Canaan Lake hosts a diverse range of fish, including barbel, carp, catfish, chub, perch, pike, tench, trout, and zander. Designed to offer a variety of bites, this location is ideal for both introducing younger anglers to the sport and for those interested in predator fishing. The pool accommodates a maximum of two fishermen, sharing four rods each, with exclusive hire available for a minimum of 48 hours.

Facilities

For convenience, a flush toilet is available on-site. Due to the exclusive hire arrangement, there are no day tickets or syndicates, and visitors are not permitted. This ensures a quiet and focused fishing experience for those enjoying the serene environment at Canaan Lake.
