Birkacre Small Lodge

Overview

Birkacre Small Lodge provides a tranquil fishing experience near Chorley in Lancashire. Located behind the visitors centre at Yarrow Valley Park, the Lodge features 15 pegs for anglers to enjoy by the water.

Facilities

The Lodge is accessible with disabled parking available for around four cars nearby. A ramp leads up to the fishing area, making it easy for everyone to cast their lines. Visitors can also make use of the toilets located in the visitor centre.

Fish

Anglers at Birkacre Small Lodge can expect to find Bream, Carp, Perch, Roach, and Tench. The lake was successfully netted and drained a few years ago to remove silt, then refilled and restocked with approximately 3000 Skimmers. This water remains productive throughout the winter, particularly for Roach and Skimmers when using bread punch.
