Woodchurch Trout Fishery features two purpose-dug lakes covering 1.75 and 2.25 acres, nestled in a peaceful valley in Kent. These rain-fed waters create a consistent environment, ideal for trout fishing enthusiasts looking to enjoy a quiet day by the water.

Trout Species

The lakes are stocked with Rainbow and Brown trout every two to three weeks, with each fish averaging around 2lb. Anglers have the opportunity to catch impressive specimens, including a record 11lb 7oz Rainbow and an 8lb 7oz Brown trout. It's important to note that all Brown trout caught are to be returned, ensuring the fishery remains vibrant for future visitors.
