Shirkoak Fisheries

Overview

Shirkoak Fisheries offers a tranquil fishing experience spread across 3.5 acres in Kent. The lake features two islands and varying depths from 5ft to 9ft, with a clay bottom adorned by reeds, iris, and sedges. In November 2019, the fishery underwent significant changes by removing many small carp and introducing fast-growing scaley carp from Chilston Fish Farm. This ongoing stocking programme continues, with additional carp added in the winter of 2020.

Anglers at Shirkoak Fisheries can expect a diverse range of fish. The current stock includes carp up to 25lb, pike reaching 15lb, as well as bream, roach, rudd, and tench up to 5lb. Whether you're targeting a hefty carp or enjoying a peaceful day catching roach, the variety ensures an engaging fishing experience.

The fishery is equipped with essential amenities to make your visit comfortable. Day tickets are available starting at £12.00 for a 12-hour session, while night fishing requires a pre-booking.
